Modern network architectures consist of many control devices, which are connected via different bus systems. There is great diversity between these systems (e.g. CAN-Busses, FlexRay and MOST Busses). All these different types of resources create a huge design space with many contraints. In this lecture, we deal with the formulae and the practical use of this theoretical on the one hand and on the other hand we have a look at what is now state of the art in the industry.
